EDITOR'S NOTES. --Ga. L. 1989, p. 1786, § 1, effective July 1, 1989, repealed the Code sections formerly codified at Article 3 and enacted the current article. The former article consisted of Code Sections 50-12-40 through 50-12-46, relating to the State Commission on Physical Fitness, and was based on Ga. L. 1978, p. 814, §§ 1 through 7.
